Dear Colleagues and Friends,
Welcome all to the 5th Annual International Digestive Disease Symposium (DDI 2021) and 4th Annual Diabetes, Obesity and Cardiovascular Disease Summit (DOCS 2021) scheduled for 16 – 18 September 2021! Much in our world has changed with the COVID pandemic still affecting us deeply and I hope that this finds you well. We are looking forward to “seeing” you in Abu Dhabi as the Congress will again be virtual this year.
The feedback from last year attendees was incredibly positive, with great interest in our debates and compelling Q and A sessions, as well as excellent interactions with colleagues from around the world and our industry partners too.
The Virtual Conference aims to provide its participants with the latest, evidence based and state-of-the-art lectures addressing a spectrum of both common and complex topics. This scientific program is specifically developed to present up to date, data driven management of a variety of conditions including medical and surgical approaches to: liver and pancreatic diseases, inflammatory bowel disease, esophageal disorders, gastrointestinal oncology, colorectal disorders, metabolic and bariatric surgery, all types of hernia repair, general gastroenterology and endoscopy, and nutritional conditions.
In addition, this year the content will be expanded to include new topics including breast surgery and robotic surgery.
The DDI Symposium will consist of diverse lectures and break-out sessions with lively debates by leading local, regional, and international experts from Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, Cleveland Clinic Ohio, Cleveland Clinic Florida, Cleveland Clinic London, and other premier international academic medical centres. We expect over 1000 delegates, from more than 40 countries, who will be provided with ample opportunities for interactive participation and discussion. The program is designed to showcase the latest in medical, surgical, minimally invasive, robotic, and endoscopic therapies.
The Diabetes, Obesity, and Cardiovascular Diseases Summit 2021 will be a multidisciplinary, comprehensive program that aims to provide participants with the newest data-driven therapies to treat obesity and metabolic diseases. The program is specifically developed to allow for the exchange of new data and treatment strategies available to address the broad-spectrum of metabolic diseases associated with obesity. DOCS 2021 will consist of diverse lectures and breakout sessions with lively debates by leading local and international experts from Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, and other leading international academic medical centers.
