WELCOME MESSAGE

Dear Colleagues and Friends,

Welcome all to the 5th Annual International Digestive Disease Symposium (DDI 2021) and 4th Annual Diabetes, Obesity and Cardiovascular Disease Summit (DOCS 2021) scheduled for 16 – 18 September 2021! Much in our world has changed with the COVID pandemic still affecting us deeply and I hope that this finds you well. We are looking forward to “seeing” you in Abu Dhabi as the Congress will again be virtual this year.

The feedback from last year attendees was incredibly positive, with great interest in our debates and compelling Q and A sessions, as well as excellent interactions with colleagues from around the world and our industry partners too.

The Virtual Conference aims to provide its participants with the latest, evidence based and state-of-the-art lectures addressing a spectrum of both common and complex topics. This scientific program is specifically developed to present up to date, data driven management of a variety of conditions including medical and surgical approaches to: liver and pancreatic diseases, inflammatory bowel disease, esophageal disorders, gastrointestinal oncology, colorectal disorders, metabolic and bariatric surgery, all types of hernia repair, general gastroenterology and endoscopy, and nutritional conditions.

In addition, this year the content will be expanded to include new topics including breast surgery and robotic surgery...
